AZUB SIX - RECUMBENT BIKE
Recumbent AZUB SIX is a user-friendly bike with really amazing driving properties. It results from a ten years experience of recumbents' development.
It results from the usual European concept of recumbents. Geometry of the AZUB SIX model includes the bottom bracket located lower than the minimum height of the seat. This makes it suitable for a comfortable ride without any significant sporting ambitions. 26" rear wheel further improves the already excellent comfort of this bike, which can be amplified by adding a suspension front fork.
You can also find the AZUB SIX model in our "Special Edition" as the Expedition version for long-distance cycling trips. Components carefully selected just for this purpose are a must.
Much as the other bikes that we offer, is AZUB SIX offered in several equipment levels with a number of upgrades and accessories.
AZUB ORIGAMI - FOLDING RECUMBENT BIKE
DESCRIPTION:
The base for this folding recumbent was a frame from AZUB ECO 20” bike. The Eco 20” was considered one of the most stable recumbents on the market and we thought we could add some improved functionality. So we designed it with a folding mechanism. As with all other our models it features an IPS system which allows you to adjust the seat position according to your preference. In combination with our sliding seat bracket and specially designed rear adjustment you can really reach the ideal position with millimeter accuracy.
The bike also features an integrated carrier which can be folded together with the bike of course. Origami is simply a practical machine for those who need to travel often or have a small apartment. It can be folded into the optional bag to be transported on trains or buses or in trunks of small cars. The comfort of your bike is ensured by our ergonomic seat with soft seat pad and long wheel base.
AZUB TWIN - RECUMBENT TANDEM
DESCRIPTION:
We made the first AZUB tandem sometime in 2004. The main reason was testing technical solutions under extreme loads. With a fully loaded tandem our marketing manager Honza and his wife Eliška travelled Romania and Ukraine; they also went to Greece and many other countries. Other testers were Philippe and his ten-year-old son Thomas, who travelled with a tandem bike from the Atlantic Ocean down the Eurovelo 6 path to our town of Uhersky Brod.
After many years, we returned to the tandem project once again and using all our experience constructed a durable tandem ready to set off both for short trips in neighborhood or around the world. The frame is welded from 60 mm pipes which allows for an overwhelming toughness. Even the rear fork is extremely strong being, which is equipped with a pair of shock absorbers.
The great advantage of the entire frame is its foldability, or even dismountability if you need to travel for example on planes with the bike. Two folding mechanisms have been developed specifically for tandem bicycles and have been used successfully for many years ..
Adjusting of the seat is ensured by a newly developed sliding seat bracket which allows precise, fast and easy positioning of the seat. The back rider can comfortably sit up, even if as tall as 185 cm, while in the front seat the height is virtually unlimited. Within the individual manufacture of frame, we are able to intervene into the overall design and create a bike to fit your needs precisely.
